The accommodation is fully centrally heated and benefits from wood burning stoves in both reception rooms. The cottage sleeps four people in one double, and one single room upstairs and a further guest may be accommodated in a single room on the ground floor. The fully fitted kitchen has an electric cooker and hob, microwave oven, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge, kettle, toaster and all the crockery, cutlery, pots and pans you will need whilst the lounge has ample seating, flat panel TV, DVD player and music system with iPod dock. A selction of games, books and tourist information is also provided. The bathroom has a bath with overhead electric shower.

The cottage is near the centre of the unique historic picture postcard town of Dornoch with its 13th century Cathedral, and castle, golf courses and beautiful beaches. There are local hotels serving meals and restaurants within walking distance of the cottage.
Local golf courses include Royal Dornoch, The Struie (also at Dornoch), Golspie, Brora, Strathpeffer, Tain, Fortrose and Bonar Bridge.
The West and North coasts of the Scotland are easily accessible on day trips whilst Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, is some 45 miles south by road. Dunrobin Castle and Gardens is 30 minutes north by road. There are also two distilleries in the area.
